Mr. Joseph N.K. Gadikor, who is currently the Director of Finance and Administration at the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, was born on 26th December, 1954.
Mr. Gadikor attended Dzelukope Local Authority Evangelical Presbyterian School before proceeding to Keta Secondary School for his secondary education up to the Sixth Form. He graduated from the University of Ghana and holds both B.A. (Hons.) and Master of Public Administration in 1981 and 1991 respectively. His specialised areas of study are Public Finance, Government Budgeting and Development Planning. Mr. Gadikor attended short courses and obtained certificates in Strategic Human Capital Management from Employer of Choice, Inc and Strabsnet Group; Workforce Optimisation Specialist Programme from Employer of Choice, Inc. and Research Methodology from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Mr. Gadikor, began his working life with the Salary Review Commission in 1981, as a National Service personnel. He joined the now defunct Prices and Incomes Board in 1982 as an Assistant Research Officer and as a result of his hard work he rose up to become the Head of Administration. In 2008 he resigned from the prices and Incomes Board to take up the appointment as the Director responsible for Finance and Administration at the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, providing both financial and administrative support to the Commission.
Mr. Gadikor’s hobbies are travelling, watching films and reading. He is married and has four children, three girls and a boy.
